Whatcha Doin’ ?

Filed under: Uncategorized - abcmomma @ 11:14 pm

Friday night we will be having the missionaries over for a pizza dinner. After they leave, I’ll probably watch a movie while dh plays World of Warcraft on the computer.

It’s going to get over 100 degrees on Saturday, but I need to work in the vegetable garden (tomatoes and peppers) and check on the fruit trees (yellow plum, peach, and apple). Maybe we’ll get out the Slip-n-Slide to cool down. My brother-in-law was kind enough to give us some tickets to a rodeo Saturday night so we are taking the ABC kids–Yeeeee Haaaaw!

Sunday we have church bright and early. Dh is the secretary of the Sunday School and also works in the church library. I’ve recently been released as the ward Primary (kids’ group) secretary, but they still need my help this week since no one has been placed in that position yet. I’m looking forward to attending Relief Society (women’s group) again next Sunday. After church, everyone in the family takes a nap or has a long quiet time. I can’t wait. I’m falling asleep just thinking about it…..

What are you doing this weekend? Do you and your hubs have a hot date planned? Are you going out to eat? Are you throwing a party? Do you get to go out of town? Are you just going to take it easy? Do you have a list of projects to do in the yard? Are you going to rent or go see some movies?

We’ve got nothin’. Perhaps some weed pulling in the evenings?

a little cleaning, a little yardwork, and a lot of relaxing. I hope :)

Well, I’m at my parents’ house with Sam so Hubby can study for the Bar these last few days leading up to it. Hopefully that means relaxing time for me, but sadly, no movies or dinners out with Hubby. Sad to be away from him when he is under so much stress, but we decided that would be best for test taking.

War Craft, huh? Hubby plays Magic online. I think it’s the only reason he can’t complain about the amount of time I spend blogging.

Watching a family movie tonight…tomorrow, not sure. It’s also suppose to reach 100 and hubby has to work. Sunday we’re helping out in our daughter’s Sunday school.
Other than those things, not much…just trying to relax since there’s lots on the calendar the next week!
Have a great weekend! :)

Hmmmmm…let me see. Plans for the weekend. Feed baby, change baby, snuggle baby, don’t sleep. I think I like your weekend plans better. :-)

I’m having problems leaving a comment so will try again! My weekend plans: feed, change, feed, change, feed, change the little one. Oh, and no sleep. I think I like your plans better! :-)

Friday we ordered Chinese take-out. Today we went to our Stakes annual children’s Pioneer Day Parade and then we played in the water all afternoon. Tonight we owe his sister a night of babysitting, so we are watching his neice. Tomorrow we wait around ALL morning to go to church. Then we will come home and SIT.

I like your plans better too!

Doing the family reunion thing!

I melted at the Pioneer Heritage celebration yesterday - we were in the parade and helped at the baked potato booth, of all things. Ugh. I showered when we got home, and I couldn’t get the water cold enough! I liked your plans better!

I attended a funeral Saturday morning, so that was totally draining. But, I recharged when we went to a birthday party that evening. Steve and I spent our first Sunday as nursery leaders at church today. Good times!

We had a GREAT weekend! Friday I went down to a little island near Galveston to visit my neighbor @ her parents beach house. Got home in time to go out to dinner with Papa. Saturday ran a bunch of errands & spent the afternoon floating in the pool and evening at a musical @ the free outdoor theater downtown. Sunday was a bunch of meetings (of course) but they were good ones and then had our hometeachers come and watched a movie. It was a great day!

Thanksfor coming over to visit my blog and for your kind comment! I appreciate it.
