What do they teach in Kindergarten?

Filed under: Uncategorized - abcmomma @ 9:46 pm

After school yesterday Bud came to me and said, "Mom, you’re sek-sy," and then busted up in maniacal laughter. I just looked at him with raised eyebrows and said, "Thanks!"

1) Some kid needs his mouth taped shut during recess.

2) It wasn’t THAT funny. :)

Wow. Isn’t it crazy the things kids learn when we aren’t by their side.

Valerie - a charter school IS a public school. But, you’re right, Ant came home from kindergarten at a traditional public school and showed us the 5-Finger Fillet game he learned from his 5th-grade reading partner.

It was pretty funny.
At least it was something nice.

My son learned that word from his cousin. And she goes to private Christian school.

It has me rolling– but I have a pretty juvenile sense of humor.

Tee hee! Okay, that’s funny. But only because it is not my kid.

That would be funny if it wasn’t coming from your own kid. My daughter has started acting like a different kid since she started kindergarten. Makes me wonder what does go on there!

I understand. My DD came home from preschool one day and told me to “shake it”. It didn’t sound so cute coming from my four-year-olds mouth.

I’d love to know what he thinks is the definition of “sek-sy”! :-)

Man, that playground IS way more advanced than my early years!

I’m with emlouisa, it’s funny because it didn’t come out of the mouth of my sweet innocent kid.
A few months ago we had a talk with our kids about not using the word “pimp” (as in “pimped out”).
Because it’s not sek-sy

Oh, but you ARE sek-sy! Oh how glad I am that I have a couple of years left at this point. No school for three more years. :) Waaaahoo!
